At 1.36 in Bounder's tape it looks like the DC8 is taking off with reversers extended.  I flew it a lot in the 70's and can remember using the inboard reversers in flight...slowing down for the approach and reversing off the gate, but never on takeoff.  Any experts around to clear my misty memories?

Reading the SAS forum I got as far as 'enable mods" to see server...and I found only a WW1 training mission in Dogfight selection.

Further reading said to "disable mods" which got me dozens of servers in Dogfight selection but none of which were for Flying Ass Clowns.

Where, in this life, have I gone wrong?

Thanks all,

Woof

These days I get a little confused about where the sun comes from.  So thanks for your help, Mike and Bounder...I'll just keep on thrashing up and down and in and out...and sometimes sideways. :-*

Hey, Mike, idiot that I am I bought BOS on Steam. How do I access the config.ini etc on Steam so I can use your settings?

Or better yet, if I buy a disc version of Kuban, say, can I transfer BOS and BOM from Steam to the Kuban disc.  I hate this bloody Steam.

Thanks.

Yep, Bounder, all set with the P40 and just shot down my first Bomber...Yowza.

And no, I don't drive around with Allison engines strapped to my pick up...

See you Tuesday?  I'll be there...

Sucbloodyces...and may the designers of Steam be consigned to the nether world...I had bought BOM sometime ago and the P40 a few days past...I had the keys but they would not activate...impossible to read them in full as the box show showing them is so small, so no cut and paste into the new registration form on the sign in page and there ain't no clipboard.  But Google saved me with a reference to Open Office working as a clipboard.  So, sigh, after innumerable hours of thrashing around, I hit a blank page with Paste and there they were in full, ready to put into some form on the new registration form.  Wha?  If you've followed any of this you must be bloody bored, but for any idiot like me who signed up with Steam perhaps there's a clue here or there about key activation.  And the best of British luck to you...

Yes, Mike, activated the key. P40 is shown in activation page. As are other collector airplanes. It does not have yellow bar beside it, in flight mode, however. I guess I mean what scenario do I select to gain access as flyable?

Thanks,

Roger
